Jillian Ong

From a young age, Chef Ong Jing Qin was fascinated by the kitchen, spending countless hours cooking alongside her grandmother — where her passion for food first took root.

She is currently a culinary consultant helping businesses enhance their offerings, with a Diploma in Restaurant and Culinary Operations (Republic Polytechnic) and a Bachelor’s in Culinary Arts (The Culinary Institute of America). Her experience spans hotels, restaurants, and catering.

Passionate about pushing culinary boundaries, she draws inspiration from diverse traditions. Since 2012, she has represented Singapore, winning accolades including Champion of the FHA National Team Challenge 2025 and three Alan Thong Coffeepot Challenge championship titles. A dedicated mentor, she served as President (2016–2021) and is now Honorary President of the Singapore Junior Chefs Club, while also serving on the Singapore Chefs’ Association Executive Committee.
