What you will learn:

Each group will prepare:

  • Half Shell Scallops in Beurre Blanc Sauce
  • Stuffed Roast Turkey  (PLUS, a demo on how to carve the whole roast turkey!)
    Sides:
    – Potato Gratin
    – Root Vegetables
    – French beans
  • Whisky Cake

During her teenage years, her mum introduced her to Mrs Field’s cookies. And that was it! She had to recreate them in her kitchen.     – Chocolate Cupcakes
    – Chocolate Fudge Swiss Meringue Buttercream
    – Basic cupcake decorating techniques with buttercream piping and fondant decorations

  • Sticky Date Pudding with Toffee Sauce (DEMO)

  • 10-12 cupcakes per pair
  • 15-16 cookies per pair (Participants can bring back portioned cookie dough to bake at home as well)

Christine Lau

Chef Christine loves food and started cooking when she was young. At school, she used to volunteer to bake cookies for her classmates and other students.

Class Description

What you will learn:

  • Kueh Ko Swee
  • Onde Onde with Gula Melaka Filling
  • Steamed Pandan Tapioca Cake

What you will prepare:

  • 1 x 7″ kueh ko swee
  • 20 pcs of onde onde
  • 1 x 7″ pandan tapioca cake

What the fee includes:

  • Use of quality kitchen equipment

  • Ingredients for the class
  • Recipe printout

Class format:

  1. Introduction to Chef Christine Lau, class structure and ingredients.
  2. Demonstration of each recipe by Chef Christine Lau, followed by hands-on session by participants.
  3. Discussion with chef including tips, techniques and troubleshooting (throughout class).

You will be able to interact directly with the instructor and use the wide variety of kitchen equipment provided by our partners and available for purchase at the ToTT Store in this hands-on cooking class. Please bring containers to pack your food if you do not intend to consume the food on-site after the cooking class. Participants are advised to wear closed shoes for protection and dress in casual, comfortable attire with little to no jewelry. Participants may be asked to share workspace depending on the recipe and class concept.

In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. We will inform you via email.
