About The Chef

Stephan Zoisl

Hailing from Austria, Chef Stephan’s professional chef career started with a three-year apprenticeship at the five-star Grand Hotel Europe in Innsbruck at the age of fifteen. Since then, Chef Stephan has worked at some of the world’s best restaurants including the two-Michelin starred Steirereck in Vienna and two-Michelin starred Restaurante Vila Joya in Portugal.  He has also catered for huge international events such as the Formula 1 Grand Prix and several Grand Slam tennis tournaments. 
 
Chef Stephan loves travelling, meeting new people and exploring new things, thus in his constant pursuit of fresh ideas he went on an eight-month food and travel sabbatical through Southeast Asia. He then returned to Europe and began a stint at world renowned, three-Michelin starred establishment The Fat Duck in Bray. Working with the UK’s master of molecular gastronomy Chef Heston Blumenthal inspired Chef Stephan tremendously. His time at The Fat Duck opened his eyes to more culinary perfection, global products and unconventional cooking methods. Chef Stephan’s cooking philosophy is to “keep it pure and simple, and always use the freshest ingredients and produce!”

Class Description

What you will learn:

  • Pumpkin Risotto using WMF Pressure cooker
  • Turkey 2-Ways: Slow Cooked Turkey Breast / Crispy Turkey Leg using WMF FUSIONTEC Cookware
  • Kaiserschmarrn (Emperor’s Soufflé Pancake) using WMF FUSIONTEC Cookware

What the fee includes:

  • Tasting portions
  • Recipe printout

Class format:

  1. Introduction to Chef Stephan Zoisl, class structure and ingredients.
  2. Demonstration of each recipe by Chef Stephan Zoisl.
  3. Discussion with chef including tips, techniques and troubleshooting (throughout class).

Limited to 64 participants in this demo class, you will be able to watch the instructor cook as if you were standing right beside the induction hob. Take notes from the comfort of your own seat as you learn how the instructor uses the wide variety of kitchen equipment provided by our partners, which are available for purchase at the ToTT Store.

Please read our Cooking Classes FAQ before you proceed to register for the class. Classes will only be confirmed proceeding or cancelled three days prior to the date of class. In the event that the minimum number of participants is not met, the class will be cancelled. We will inform you via email. You can choose to either get a refund of the cooking class fee or attend another class of the same value.
